Church Partnership:

The partnership of LIVING WORD MINISTRIES with Local Churches is a blessing to the community, to us, and to the local churches.

There are many hurting and afflicted people in every community, and every church does what it can to reach out. They reach out to individuals and families who need food and clothing throughout the year. They give so generously, with much time and effort, to bless the hurting at Thanksgiving, Christmas, back to school, etc., but there's only so much they can do, and many fall through the cracks. Partnering, or networking together, we can reach out and touch more lives than we can alone.  We rely on the generous support of local churches to help provide us with much needed financial assistance, volunteers, counselors, teachers, pastors, etc. Churches are also needed to help coordinate food drives, collect household goods, clothing, toys and furniture for our ReSale Shop.

Volunteers:

LIVING WORD MINISTRIES relies on volunteers to help us do our daily work.  From answering phones, assisting with mailings, working in the ReSale Shop, sorting and bagging groceries, cleaning, maintenance, etc. Living Word Ministries is a wonderful place for individuals, businesses, organizations to give generously of their time, talents, finances and compassion. Please contact us if you would like to become a Volunteer.

Each year, Living Word Ministries, will recognize companies and individuals for their outstanding commitment and services to our mission, with a "Heart of Compassion" Award.

Financial Donations:

It's the faithful and generous support of friends and partners that enable us to feed and care for the many people who come to our Ministry.

We know you understand how important it is to be able to feed everyone who comes to us all year long. We never want to have to turn anyone away because we've run out of food. Financial gifts, large and small, are needed to feed the needy week after week. Whatever you can do to help will truly be a blessing to this ministry, and will be put to work immediately.
